Plastecowood are a North Wales based purveyor of sustainable outdoor ‘plastic wood’ products and are paving the way for a new ecological alternative to wood in Britain.

Using plastics recycled in their very own purpose-built, state-of-the-art factory, Plastecowood turn Britain's waste into their trademarked Smartawood materials. Unlike Timber, the Smartawood materials do not rot, split or splinter and are a much more sustainable and cost-effective alternative to wood.

Using the manufactured Smartawood materials, Plastecowood design and craft a wide range of stylish, robust and low maintenance products ranging from garden furniture, decking and signage to storage boxes or full-scale playgrounds.

Over the last 7 years Plastecowood’s mission has been to utilise plastic waste packaging that is otherwise destined for landfill or incineration. With over 1 Million kgs of carbon saved from landfill each year, 40 million plastic containers recycled annually, and 3,750 trees saved to date, it is fair to say they are more than achieving their goals.
